Mind Mapping for treasure

hello dear folks!

An early winter chill has started to permeate my bones as the old man winter howl rattles the door frame weather stripping..People rushing and some even covering their faces to avoid that H1N1 virus, as the mad rush hour crowd pushes and shoves it's way onto the subway cars..People looking drained and exhausted after an energy sucking day at the office, factory or retail store..Will life be any different now that 2010 is coming? What will the future hold for the typical Canadian?..Well..According to soothsayers, psychics ,and even the media, we may very well have our 'last hurrah' as a planet.. The idea of Armageddon seems terrifying but confusing when a newly born baby boy seems so comfortable and secure in his mother's arms..Well.. the end of the world is only the end when we consider the total population in general at any given point of time..We will all experience separation from this planet when we finally pass on..As one generation dies another one will take it's place..Hopefully to improve the quality of life with each proceeding generation..Global warming may very well be that Armageddon but scientists and North America's newly appointed 'global warming evangelist' Mr. Al Gore has stated it could be within 50 years...The Arctic ice of the North Pole seems to be melting at a faster rate then expected...Polar bears whose main staple are seals and some fish are now resorting to cannibalism to stay alive..Climate change and or global warming has caused a definite change in our very sensitive ecological environment..Eco-systems of plants and wildlife are sensitive and fragile to the ever changing set of circumstances necessary for a proper balance...Without the proper amount of oxygen or sea vegetation this delicate balance is severely compromised...resulting in diminished fish stock, and species on the verge of extinction..For example..The Fraser River salmon run has been a regular occurrence for hundreds of years...Nearly 11 million sock-eye salmon were expected to return to the Fraser River to spawn this summer...but slightly over a million showed up..Many environmentalists believe it could be because of climate change effecting the temperature of the Fraser River...If the temperature is comfortable for humans it would be lethal for the salmon.. The resulting higher temperatures and the Georgian Straits salmon fish farms have caused the salmon to be infected with sea lice..On their journey to the Pacific ocean they get bigger and bigger but on their journey back they somehow die...without reaching their spawning grounds...Many scientists blame it on the Georgian Strait fish Farms and the higher Fraser River temperatures...The proliferation of salmon fish farms along the salmon corridor has caused an increase of disease in the salmon run..A sad and unproductive scenario in that it has also effected the standard of living of natives in the area..Why the Fish Farms? Well...blame it on human impatience for the almighty dollar!...not wanting to wait for the natural process of fish migration ,they instead rely on man-made fish farms..which spread disease to the wild salmon on route, infecting them with parasites and sea lice..Well in this case...We have human greed and their impatience with natural processes..Their interests are short term in that money is the only motivation...Their own version of mind mapping...or their own bottom line is the only consideration.. Today's version of Mind mapping or today's thought processes are linked to short term profit at the expense of the destruction of natural procedures.. A True treasure benefits all of mankind..not just short term industries who falsely think they are filling a short term need..bottom line? They want the money today and will not wait until the salmon come swimming home..With so many diversified ways of thinking it's little wonder we are in such dire straits ourselves! If people can wait two years for a 500 lb cheese block to cure they could very well wait until a typical sock-eye salmon completes it's migration cycle!

Now what does all this have to do with our main entry Mind mapping for treasure? Well..it has a lot to do with it!..Major global problems such as global warming can be solved by re-adjusting our mindset..Computer programs are designed to do a certain job and the mind should be no different...What is needed is a collection of minds designed to solve certain important world problems.. We have inside each one of us a very complex maze of thinking...Most thinking done today is self gratifying and often done for purposes of short term profit..The term 'Mind mapping for treasure for politicians sadly involves looking for new revenues which could put them in the black again..Their current treasure is focused on possible revenues generated by the Alberta tar sands...An environmental quagmire of potential disaster if fully developed is sitting there waiting for political approval...Alberta's past Heritage fund which was generated by oil revenues is rapidly dwindling and Alberta's provincial politicians are eyeing the Alberta oil sands as a potential capitol bonanza for the region..and for Canada as a whole..What they are focusing on is not very beneficial to Canada's reputation as a global environmental leader...The coming Copenhagen environmental Summit involving world leaders of major countries is a faint glow of light which may not be enough to bypass the eminent disaster of global warming..What is Canada's role in saving this planet? Well..Power in this country is handled by a select few...Primarily, politicians such as Mr. Harper, his opposition, and his cabinet ministers hold the trump card of change... One serious question we all can ask is: Can a puppet government mind map for treasure? Well...Canada's economy is in dire need of more revenue to bail itself out of it's present deficit..Mr. Harper's stance is that a 2% decrease to 1990 levels in carbon emissions is their only reply to the world's global warming crisis...Their present idea of treasure is to rake in millions from the Alberta tar sands and the oil reserves off Newfoundland...Millions of dollars of federal tax can be earned from the development of these oil reserves.. Their opinion is that today is no time to save the planet and therefore their treasure at the moment is to focus on getting themselves out of the financial deficit they created with their stimulus package..Our only hope as a nation in Copenhagen is to shame us into action..Other countries are committed to a 30 to 80 percent reduction of carbon emissions by 2050.. What we need is a different mindset..a different way to solve a problem..but in order to solve it leaders must believe in change..We are experiencing the crossroads of a green revolution...and the only thing stopping it from full development is the lure of short term monetary gain...We as a nation should show leadership in this regard and must be committed to a new way of thinking..Mind mapping can be the answer to our world problems...Changing the source of thought and how it relates to our soul's predetermined mission in life is what we need at the moment..it is a faster way to implement change..and the inner workings of our mind can lead to treasure which serves the majority of people on this planet...An interesting thought right?Let's explore it further...
But first let's all mind map for treasure...On a good day along a crowded beach off Florida's coast one can use a metal detector to find treasure...The chance of finding diamond rings or even coins is greatly enhanced by using such an electronic device...One uses this kind of device to find treasure and even though it's not enough to buy a villa in France one can get a lot of satisfaction doing so..What is mind mapping anyway? Well...we can use our minds to create a new reality...A reality of sharing this planet wisely and considering it a gift.. our treasure so to speak...to be enjoyed by future generations.. This line of thinking should be the mandate of today's leaders..but is it really? Well..it may be in their inner awareness but focused determined effort which brings on an international consensus is severely lacking..In order to mind map a problem of this magnitude one must have the desire and the willingness to bring on change..Mr. Obama is under tremendous pressure to change the world because of his recent Nobel Peace prize win..Can he do it? Well if he went into a big room with many international leaders he could very well mind map his way to peace, harmony and love..
Let's discuss who started the term Mind Mapping...Mr. Tony Buzan was the originator of this kind of thinking process...He wrote many books on the subject from the 60's and early 70's...He lectured throughout the world and even though this type of thought process was actually a very ancient cultural or tribal way of thinking...He was the first to codify it, thus hitting a nerve with thousands of people all over the world!...Let's analogize the typical mind map and how it develops... A mind map is a set of associations related to a main problem or subject heading...It's a curved pictorial way of representing facts..and thus leads to many points of discussion which fit together with the main problem or subject..Once all this information is laid out this way, a creative solution to a perplexing problem can be found..One has to understand how the mind works to appreciate it's full power...The mind or I should say the subconscious mind prefers to communicate in images...The saying a 'picture is worth a thousand words' is the basis of our typical mind map..Note taking is expanded by this method because it highlights the two dimensional process and thus associations can easily be found..Therefore a mind map is very useful for consolidating data from different research sources, thinking through complex problems, presenting data in a way which shows the big picture or overall structure of a problem... Hmm... quite an interesting and powerful way to think!...Just think..if we had 30 or more people in a big room thinking like this! Mr. Tony Buzan!....Where were you when all those fumbling stubborn international leaders met in Copenhagen? Do you think it would of been a more pronounced and more powerful outcome if the theory and implementation of mind mapping were initiated? I think so!...It would of been very appropriate of Mr. Tony Buzan to supervise the Copenhagen Environmental summit!... It would of been worth it to pay him 1 million US for his attendance...Just a thought folks!

Well...let's all mind map in our own little ways...Problems can be solved on a person to person basis..We all have problems and the 'bigga bossa upadera' will not come down on a cloud to help us..We need to help ourselves..Before you mind map your way to materialistic short term things like a 2000 dollar Gucci handbag or a big flashy long Cadillac..Remember the old saying: "Why do so many people spend so much money they don't have to buy things they don't need just to impress people they don't even like? Now move that metal detector a little more to the left...please...there you go! Now dig down really deep!...it's getting louder isn't it? Hmm...wow...Now pick up that nice shiny Toonie coin! Now go to an old man begging on the street and smile as you gently give it to him! Wish him well as you leave.. If you do this enough times you will one day have mind-mapped your way to your own eternal treasure!! ...

Please stay tuned for the next entry of the verifiedbeliever! Have a Merry Xmas and a smashing good new year!

Ciao Luv yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
