We are all born without a users manual!...

Hello Folks!

In today's turbulent times we can all verily agree that the world's population has steadily increased and has actually doubled in the past 40 years...At this rate we better colonize the Moon and Mars in the next 50 years or we will all surly run out of farming land...Food may have to be thought of very differently in the near future because of the amount of land that is needed for the raising of cows, pigs, lamb, turkey, chicken etc......Once we re- prioritize our taste buds to accept grasshoppers, legumes, grub worm, and all types of yummy insects we will have made progress in preventing the imminent food shortages that soon may exist!...Do I see a slight cringe on the left side of your nose? he he

Doomsday rhetoric is not what this blog is about but indeed sometimes it is needed so that we can adopt to new ways of thinking...Change is painful...to a lot of people...The mind takes the path of least resistance and what is familiar to most is what the mind and body tend to gravitate toward...If we accept change logically as nature's directed course of action we may become better at being human...This is the main reason why we are born isn't it? To improve as a person and to relate to each other as well as with nature?
We are not the same person we were at ten are we? We have changed without any resistance on our part so why is it so difficult to change now? Well...one reason is that we do not fully understand the complexities or mechanics of change...Nature changes us whether we like it or not...by putting the seed of change in our bodies and minds we will evolve into a  different person in 20 yrs...The little girl next door used to play with dolls but now runs a billion dollar perfume conglomerate!..Does she now regret loosing her passion for dolls? Only her bank manager knows for sure! he he ... or every overweight person would love to loose that stubborn 50 pounds today...why today ? Well..the theory of the eternal now is working against them..not for them..that's why!..That cherry cheese cake  looks really good right now!...We only live once right? Or do we?...

Being an adult with mature ambitions at 40 is not the same person  at 10...who will be secure living in their parent's home and will have no choice but to abide by their rules...That same person at birth will be born into a family who may or may not show love, kindness, responsibility, or a sense of spiritual values...So we are in essence thrown to the wolves and it is up to us to wrestle with that snake of perception instilled by our parents if it is less then adequate.....If we are lucky we will have good parents who will gives us the love and patience to grow as a person...Were we given a set of instructions on how to live a good life? Sadly we were not!...We have the bible but it is written in a language which will make anyone's head spin...it does what it is meant to do..millions have been transformed because of it..the power of inspiration cannot be denied.. but  what is needed  is something quick and easier to remember prior to reading it...A 'cut to the chase simplicity' is what is needed to fill in the gaps...

At 60 something my verifiedbeliever status has qualified me as a student of change and what is written in these blog entries has brought me success in battling my day to day demons of destruction...No user manual was given to me at birth and yes I was extremely lucky to have loving quality parents but I still wrestled with my own demons which tempted me toward short lived gratifications...Yes I got a buzz out of smoking drinking and eating all those yummy tempting junk foods but soon realized that as a result my health deteriorated...Learning what is right and good for mind and body was a puzzle that soon made sense to me...Change was the only option and through the power of suggestion the seeds of change were seeds of construction not destruction...Yes folks your eureka moment has now arrived and you are looking at it without reservations and negativity!...We are born to create not destroy! I have created a totally new body with a different set of values which were implemented by constructing not destroying...Let's all create something good and realize that if one plants good seeds one will harvest a useful good crop...

How did I come across a users life manual at 60 something? Well for one thing I became aware of my surroundings and as I walked downtown one spring day I noticed a shop with a giant bill board which said: Life users manual! I quickly became excited and wanted to share this with my readers as well as implement these instructions myself!... Let's dig in and apply these truths and accept the bountiful fruits that will emanate upon acceptance and application of these principles:

                                                    Life Users Manual
This is your life...find a passion and pursue it...fall in Love...Dream Big
Eat healthy food...Spend quality time with good friends who energize you
Laugh every day..Believe that life has a magic of it's own
Reminisce about the good old days but look with optimism to the future
Travel, Learn new ways of thinking and doing...Be Creative
Spend time with people you admire..Seize opportunities as they unfold
Love with sincerity...Never give up just because it's difficult
Do what you love to do..because it's your nature...Be true to who you are

Doing good things invites good Karma..Likewise doing evil invites bad Karma
Make time for the simple things in Life..Embrace change as nature's course
Validate your good values by acting on them
Trust yourself...Be thankful and grateful for what you have
Forgive even when it's really difficult to do so...
Be the change you wish to see in the world
Above all: Cherish and act on the Zen philosophy of the eternal Now

Well folks there you have it! Putting life in one neat little package is not so hard is it? Good luck and you even have my permission to put these instructions on your to do list for today!

Stay tuned for the next entry of the verifiedbeliever...Ciao Love ya!
