Personal Tears for canada.....

well Hello my dear Readers and friends!

The longer I postphone my writing the longer it seems it takes for me to get in the groove so to speak..Life in it's essence is like a spinning top...we have control over it as it gently releases from the string as it spins and spins doing an occassional jump and skip as it accidently falters to the ground..This is normal for tops and also normal for people as they live their lives to the best of their abilitiy...People in most cases will fulfill their mandate to live their life as they see fit..not wondering if their life will be cut short or their lives suddenly motionless as the top...

Canada is a very big country and the politicians have very big egos backed by the power they seem to manifest..Jean Creitien seemed to relish in his role as prime Minister of Canada...He seemed to relish in his role walking the talk of a Prime Minister self absorbed in soaking in the most power he can beg, borrow or steal from the canadian public...The scandel of the liberal party is indeed his responsibilty but since he seems to be immune to others mistakes and shadowy dealings withing his inner circle ... the leader of canada remains untouchable and stately and almost sacrosanct..A mere figurehead no better then your average sofa..okok...let's compare him with something more classy...let's compare him to a French Provinicial sofa in an elegant living room in the French city of Paris...lol. True leadership in this country is missing and obviously not on the list of things to do..My personal tears go to the leaders of this country... looking great on an international level but pretty sad when examined with our third eye of perception..One must realize that true leadership can indeed influence the canadian population to a considerable degree if only they would realize the actual power they have within the country itself..and how they can actual influence the population in general..The problem does not lie within the goverment itself when dealing with homelessness it lies within the uncaring attitudes we have toward people who are more disadvantaged economically..My tears go to the canadian people who do not realize that humanity must be treated as sacred and that all people should respect each other as long as no-one hurts one another. It can be argued that a leader could be considered leaning too much to the right if he or she would encourage others to respect each other...Leaders can encourage potential employers to hire social assistance recepients because in reality it would make a lot of sense when combating the war on poverty...which is the real war between the haves and the have nots...The dignity of the person is at stake here not the power and prestige of the upper class..and their status quo of a comfortable existence. Anyone who is lucky enough to escape the ravages of poverty should show some sort of interest in what's going on in his or her country..Instead of showing this interest they point the finger at a goverment who should be showing leadership..Take me to your leader! Where are you sir?

A hand up is much better then a hand out... Political leaders can make speeches encouraging business leaders to hire on the basis of qualifications.. not age, weight , appearances social disadvantage or physical impairment...Who cares if the person doesnt look the part...can he do the job? If the person has the abilty to do the job and has the correct attitude employers should give them a chance...take a risk...or hire them because they have been suffering in poverty far too long and it's time for that handup ..Do they think like this? NO they don't! They refuse to fight this war...the war to save people from the ravages of poverty...governments can spend 25 percent of their budgets on wars to wave the flag of freedom in some far off land but fail to realize the war on poverty here at home...the human dignity of the person is a valuable commodity to oneself...it's the essense and fabric of society...and should not be reserved for the upper class only but should be etched in stone on a giant sign for all to see and contemplate..

I'am tired of the attitudes of employers who stress that they seek a great attitude when seeking employees but in essence have no moral attitude themselves to give some one a chance in life..Fair play is not fair play..its fair power..hording..People who seem to lack the power will not get the job ...plain and simple...If you are over 50..you may be prejudged right out of the door...The baby boomer of today offers the greatest value to our society and employers must realize this and give someone a break...Instead of saying that they don't fit the company culture say: The 50 plus worker offers value and experience for the younger set..setting an example to younger people is a sign of leadership....and that kind of leadership is actually priceless..

Yes my fellow canadians...the verifiedbeliever is at it again! This time with a vengence and as I sit here contemplating my fate in life I can truthfully say that being a musician is the greatest job in the world..I shed another tear or two for the canadian musician who plays to make some one happy...how much does he get paid? Not enough...they are all living in the alleys of a powerful entertainment complex..controlled by a powerful select few..People who would pay hundreds for some stupid idiot called snooper dog who is a brilliant example to the youth of today....always getting himself in trouble...and what do people do? They buy more of his records thats what they do! It seems peoples morals are right out the window...Take me to your leader! It's every man and woman for himself..and the most people can do is be held hostage to the promoters and money men who control entertainers like puppets to their satisfaction..Sharing the limelight with other musicians is not done in this society...If a band makes 50 people happy in a period of 4 hours...they will get very little compared to other professional occupations. Here we have beautiful music which makes people happy...so they don't have to take a drug..the druggest gives you a tranquilzer hoping that it will work with little side effects....Music is considered play not pay...by some ignorant people..and to share the wealth properly is actually a no no..So musicians love it so much that they tend to forget that they should be paid well for it...Well blame it on the bossa nova dear people! lol

Yessssssssssssssss the verifiedbeliever sheds another tear...for the average Torontonian who works at minimum wage in a city which is considered to be the most expensive to live in in 2006..The actual wage here should reflect the cost of living...but it is not...and leaders are slow to level the playing field...prefering instead to starve the tobacco farmer who by the way is indeed starving and not even making a living ...what does the goverment do instead? They tax cigarettes and make a fortune on the backs of the farmers who really should be given the break here...I shed a very big tear for them...actually my heart bleeds for them...they are politically abused and should not take it anymore, prefering instead to picket to a faceless and ignorant power monger.

So there you have it!Today I' am shedding a few tears for people who seem to suffer the inequities of poverty, and abuse..We need leadership now...anyone can apply for the job..if you want the job...dont line up around the corner...just go ahead and work your miracles...Carl Jung once said "Where there is love there is no power to dominate...where there is power there is no will to love....one is the shadow of the other"...Great words to adhere too...good luck to you all...and stay tuned for the verifiedbeliever's next entry! Love yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
