There's something rotten in Denmark....

Hi there!

Hello my dear readers, friends and family! I hope you are really enjoying the summer as it is now and so far it has been a summer locked in a twilight zone type reality...Hail the size of baseballs,an unheard of tornado in the Toronto area, and 12 consecutive days of rain!...This is really a blessing in disguise for all you sunshine fanatics for it really set the stage for only two pollution day warnings in April! It feels like there's some sort of cleansing going on with mother nature being the healer and also the executioner...From all the natural disasters going on throughout the world I guess it's her way of controlling the population explosion and also her way of getting revenge for all the abuse that this earth has endured...So be it! Smile!, and always remember that the glass is half full. This leads to appreciating what we have as opposed to the greedy elbow shoving toward the brass ring of plenty...

Yea ,Mr. Verifiedbeliever is at it again with his doomsday rhetoric...Which leads us to the main entry title of today...There is something rotten in Denmark...Please understand that I have no malice for the Danish in this world for they are a very smart country with freedom being their main mantra...The Danish want to be happy and as you enter the small country you will see the Danish quietly peddling their bikes while the love affair with the automobile takes a back seat...Yea, their could be something rotten in Italy or the United Kingdom as well as any country within the global community...My apologies to the Danish if I have insulted their country but I think their happiness also implies they are quite intelligent too! ...They know that the English language is loaded with axioms, maxims, sayings , and bits of expression which sometimes cannot be taken literally...So what are you babbling about Mr. Verifiedbeliever? Well to begin let us fasten our seat-belts and let the Verifiedbeliever take you for a ride on his magical truth and reality inner-spaceship and be prepared for a wild ride of bumps, unexpected U-turns,and even a minor accident or two as the ship journey's to the deepest part of your mind...Some of you will want to get off and eventually ride their own truth spaceship and as a result will even experience more turbulence..So be it! My mission here is to reach an inner destination ...Where you go is entirely up to you!... But enlightenment or peace of mind are worthwhile places to travel to ...So let's get to the heart of the matter! ...

People by nature want a lot of things but I think it would be true to say that the goal of all creation is to want freedom...Nobody really wants to be controlled or manipulated..I don't see 10,000 birds lining up at the newly retooled auto-manufacturing plant waiting to hand deliver their job applications..This is only for people and if you don't work you will indeed have a tough time managing your affairs and paying your mortgage...So in a way we are slaves to our jobs and as a result unhappiness penetrates our souls like a rapid succession of machine gun fire!..We feel helpless as we can only hope to be one of the lucky 300 to be hired for a job that pays 29 dollars an hour ..We can grin and bare the daily robotic routine of factory work because the North American dream is to work like crazy so we can enjoy the freedom that exists outside the manufacturing plant...Sad but true...The above title is ringing so loud that my ears are popping out of my head....Indeed, upon closer examination there could be something rotten in Denmark....

The world is indeed an evil place and if you read my previous entry Testing grounds for all...This is Purgatory ..we can understand that this world is a place where we are tested and also a place where we suffer...There are a lot of people who don't want to suffer or be sadly embraced by weakness of power due to extreme poverty or hardship...These people make it a mission to embrace power and the spoils it returns in the war between good and evil...The Cosa Nostra, Mafia , Chinese , Russian or any kind of evil connection...One thing can be certain...There is something rotten in Denmark and it's getting worse as major crime units have placed their evil hands on all countries within the global community...There is no safe zone in this world...the only safe zone you can travel too is the secret paradise within your own mind...For the mother of all wars, crime and evil starts within your own mind...so if you deceide to choose good over evil then you have reserved a front row seat for the good karma show in your next life!

This world is indeed a hell hole only if you react negatively toward the evil and the injustice thats all around you...For it is wisely said that life is 85 percent how you react toward it..If you are not sensitive to these negative forces and react in an indifferent or uncaring way you have devised a way to shut out the evil around you and have adopted the mantra: I hear no evil, I see no evil and I do no evil: You can go ahead with your life and be the best you can be helping the people around you and by serving your community in a limited way...This is a very powerful concept in that one general cannot win a war but the collective good work of key people can make a difference and could have a major influence in the world ...If you feel that the world is too evil and that your presence in it a waste of time you may cherish the idea of a general escape at the nearest exit: Suicide is considered and acted upon by thousands of people and society takes a mother's approach and holds their hand and considers them unstable. As the Verifiedbeliever I have beliefs that will never change and the discussion of suicide is a topic that should not be put under the rug. Murder is a crime and the meaning of murder is a premeditated will to kill a life...When a person kills himself because he no longer wants to live he commits murder to himself and society may record him as being unstable...But the bad karma of this violent act is recorded on to the person's balance sheet and will be dealt with in a higher court...Not the American supreme court but the Almighty's highest Spiritual Court....Some of you will disagree with me but I firmly believe that this violent act on oneself is murder and it will be judged as that in this high court...My message to all those who are contemplating suicide is: Govern yourself accordingly and have an open mind: Life is a turbulent voyage and there are many storms and terrible winds which resemble life's ups and downs but the main point here is that to want to live takes a courageous person. If it wasn't for the courage of mankind the moon would still be a place that we can only dream about....

Yea, as I ponder on my trusty computer keyboard on what to say next one thing comes to mind...It's well...Payback time! What? What are you babbling about now Mr. Verifiedbeliever! I have vivid memories of my mother and father...This may sound old fashion but I have to say this: They were and still are great parents...Giving me a place to stay, feeding me, putting up with my strange behaviour and there were many times I drove them crazy with my yo-yo antics of leaving home and coming back..A total of three times! My dad used to grind his teeth not because it was a stupid habit but because he was practicing for the time he would literally chew me to pieces if I did that one more time..His patience was severely tested and he deserves a medal for putting up with me all those years...But I think he knew in his heart of hearts that I was a restless soul with no particular place to go...Good old mom was the reason why he didn't strangle me (Hehehe) She is surly heaven sent and deserves two medals...One for giving birth and the other one for her loving concern over her children. Two entirely different people but two people who I loved and do love dearly..Dad passed away 14 years ago but his memory is alive and well in my mind...So be it! I said my peace and to be honest with you I owe them a lot for supporting me (room and board, pain and suffering) for over 21 years!!! Compounding interest on top of interest really does it's magic when you add it all up spread over 20 years! Mom thinks like most mothers think...She doesn't want anything from her kids...What this leads to is this: Even though my mother is not in a nursing home she is constantly watched by my brother and sister and they are there for her..It's too bad I'm 300 miles away but my heart is always with her and I respect and love her deeply....Are my sons reading this !!!!!! If I was writing with a fountain pen it would be all smudged with tears by now...(Remembering the time when I left Italy on a boat)...Stupid me running all over the ship as Mom laid in bed suffering from nausea...How I didn't land in the Atlantic is anyone's guess!!....Hehehe

Nursing homes today are deplorable and there were already 160 violations in Ontario for substandard service...Nursing staff are complaining they are short of staff but the truth of the matter is that they are not prioritizing their workload the proper way...They bury themselves in paper work and then leave important patient related tasks undone...There are reports that many patients are left naked on their beds without being washed and the stench of urine is noticeable...They are drugged until they are vegetables...A drugged patient is probably sleeping most of the time or not causing any major mischief..A sad way to depart this world...Where is the respect? Why aren't their children pulling their own weight and helping their parents? Don't you think they deserve a little help since they sacrificed for their children for many years? Yea there is something rotten in Denmark and I'm furious that society discriminates against seniors and the lists goes on and on....Ageism, race, religion, disabilities, the poor, the obese...All this discrimination and Denmark now is so rotten that the stench is making me sick!...(Denmark is not rotten literally)

A hell on earth? Well it doesn't have to be! People are people and if you notice people at the supermarket you will see how picky and choosy they are....They pick up 20 tomatoes before they settle on one they like...The tomatoes they discard are still healthy and tasty and have the same amount of lycopene as the others..But as you watch them man handle (or woman handle) the food you begin to think that they do that with people too...Obesity is a problem in society I cannot deny that...and it should be addressed but the obese person is the one who is discarded...Hollywood adores the sexy glamorous look and it is common knowledge that a sexy scene or two with model type actors would sell more pictures...Prejudging people according to appearance or any other factor is a cancer in society and makes people extremely judgemental..It is true the first 3 minutes of meeting a person is the most crucial and first impressions are the deceiding factor in job interviews but the sad part is that talent or experience really takes a back seat to appearances or attractiveness...An employer would hire a a young attractive woman with a little less experience then a woman in her 50's who has an impeccable work record..Yea it's the way of the world and some day there will be a major consciousness shift to spirituality and the person who exhibits their soul for the world to see is the one who will be the most successful...Will that happen? Well if we were made of quantum particles that you cannot see maybe...but as it stands now people will always discriminate...Discrimination is really being choosy in a way only you know why...It has nothing to do with true value but a lot to do with the way the mind works..We are a visual society and the maxim a picture is worth a thousand words says it all...

Hey you want to hear the most rotten thing in Denmark? I'm no Joan Rivers and putting her mouth in overdrive takes a real talent and her comedy act is based on gossip, rumors and celebrity insults..She makes a living being rotten to the core....but I think it's not who she really is...I firmly believe she has love in her heart but must act a certain way because of her powerful stage presence...So, what is so rotten that it makes your hair cringe in despair? Well it's the forever pursuit of the bottom line...Corporations have been literally saved by the computer and how efficient they have made their lives....There are programs like Simply accounting that simplifies accounting and automates procedures to the point of supreme efficiency...Many man and woman hours are saved by routine tasks which were really done manually prior to the computer age...What this has done is made society dependent on computers and or machines and therefore they have merged with that...We have become a society of fast talking tech people and subconsciously we are mimicking computers as we advertise products that a layman finds hard to understand...Over-clocking a computer chip is the name of the game when extracting every last ounce of efficiency out of a chip...People are mesmerized by this and take pride in ownership as their own computers go over limit...

Somehow this line of thinking has been adopted on a human level...No longer can a man be valuable doing one thing at a time ...even if he does them well...Multi-tasking has been the new buzz word for a while now and to multi-task well is considered a valuable asset and companies love to squeeze every bit of efficiency out of a hired hand as possible...After all, managers and owners see people as a product ...A product that they have bought and paid for...Sad but true , people are used to amplify a company's bottom line and to push people to their limits is now considered a normal practice....People merging with computers or machines sets a dangerous pattern and this little stink in Denmark will get even more rotten as computer designers experiment with computers based on the human DNA....A scary thought but it's been said that this type of machine could be the mother of all future computers ....Hmmmmm, hold your breath folks while I make a b-line to the nearest exit!

Yea this month's entry has been a cleansing for me as far as truth is concerned as I researched certain topics I was literally shocked as to how gullible people are. Believing what TV ad's tell us...It's a shame a TV personality's career is dependent on commercial revenue but it's true that if a person is a hot personality on the set then it stands to reason that advertisers would want to take that spot especially if his ratings go through the roof...It literally means they will sell more tylenol extra strength ..If you read my previous entries you will see that one set of circumstance effects other sets of circumstances ...The manufacturer downplays the hidden danger in taking 500 mg of pain killers...After all extra strength to them means the pain killer packs more of a wallop..makes the pain more manageable....Little do people know that 20 percent of renal dialysis is due to taking too many pain killers over a period of time...This is especially true in Australia as they are the world's heaviest pill poppers...People taking these pills will say to themselves....Well what is this little pill going to do to me?...They think it will never happen to them but as the years go by they finally end up in the emergency ward waiting for dialysis...Today's doctors prescribe pills like it was candy and not really fully trained as to the side effects...They are wined and dined by drug companies as to the drug's effectiveness..Prevention is not a trendy or fashionable pass time...Why? As people's lives get busier and busier one's health is really put on the back burner....If one is sick or in pain then the logical answer is the quick fix...such as pain killers, antibiotics etc...Something is rotten in Denmark in the medical field that's for sure...The white coat syndrome is a real problem to a lot of people...Studies were done on people waiting for their doctor...Their blood pressure actually rises because of the nervousness of waiting...Why are they so nervous? Well some people think it's the God complex...Doctors have all the power and in reality hold your life in their hands...So whatever they say is gospel...and true...I believe there is a subconscious power struggle going on between patient and doctor and somehow because of the doctor's knowledge and training we give up and let the doctor make all the deceisons..This is a dangerous way to operate especially when it concerns our own bodies!...Have you ever noticed that doctors talk very little about prevention..After all, if everybody was focused on disease prevention then most doctors would loose a lot of patients...Less patients means less money for them...I truly believe that they enforce this type of thinking subconsciously and will never admit it to anyone...but let's face it ...They are in business to make money...Why do you think a lot of doctors leave this country for more lucrative offers in the USA or elsewhere? I sincerely believe that they don't have millions of needy canadian patients in their hearts when they leave this country!

My intention here is not to knock the doctors and or surgeons of Canada...They do a commendable job in doing triple by passes in the cardiac wings of Canadian hospitals as a result actually extending ones life almost 20 years...Other fine accolades goes to the medical profession for research and development in the field of kidney, liver and lung transplants..One must not forget the progress made in robotics in surgeries...A doctor in New York can operate via robotics and computers on a man in France...If it wasn't for modern technology and the up to date skills of present day surgeons , people would not live as long as they do today...There are very good people in the health profession but we must remain partners with them so that we have more control over our bodies...Prevention must be our major responsibility. Let's take a splendid example of 'taking the bull by it's horns' ...Back in march I was diagnosed with kidney stones...The most excruciating pain a man can endure is colic renal pain brought on by kidney stones..Some say it equals labor pains in a woman...It would come and go... It was so bad that I went to St Mike's.. ...The 6 hour wait was unbearable..After the blood sample and urine sample and the pain killer laced with gravol I was wheeled up for an c-scan...They found a 3 mm stone at the junction of the bladder...It was ready to pass but still no cigar...What's rotten in Denmark? Well...let's say my ignorance of general disease prevention...Prior to this kidney stone episode I would hardly drink any water and would snack on peanuts, chips, pizza and everything that is easy to form a calcium-oxylate stone...When there is no water to flush out the calcium it would build up as crystals to form a stone....The pain killers were a necessary evil because of the suffering I endured...Pain killers will never be my cup of tea because of the damage they could do with extended use...So this gives me a good enough reason not to get stones again ...

So life 101 is really a learning experience ...Now I drink over 2 liters a day of lemon laced pure water and eat a healthy diet...and I have not had any pains as of yet...I have lost 10 pounds since March ...A slow start but they say the hardest part of any long journey is the actual first baby steps...What's needed in life is the momentum of change...For change is a long process but if one procrastinates until the sun goes down then disease prevention is only a thought in the brain...
So if something in your life smells or stinks then you can be rest assured that there is something rotten in Denmark...Put on your face mask and don't breathe in too deeply...That rotten thing can be replaced by something beautiful..Everything in life is timing and to add a few more years to your life is nothing to sneeze at especially if you have a mission to accomplish...The most frustrating thing to swallow is not completing your life's mission because of health reasons...Everything is really preventable and think twice before you do something...As John Lennon once said...."life happens to you while you are busy making other plans" Let's live each moment as if it was our last and appreciate the time we have left...Hey!?....If the Danish can do it, We can to! Hehehehehe!

Stay tuned for our next entry from the Verifiedbeliever! Ciao, Love yaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
