How goes the war, the battle , life , or whatever you want to call it?! Life 101 keeps on teaching no matter if the students are present or not..The hustle and bustle of city life can be a drag especially if you specialize in mundane and boring tasks..I think everyone will agree that the harshness of survival takes the magic out of what life can offer..Gone are the days when people would hang out at the local diner and discuss or even demonstrate the latest dance step to the delight of the other patrons. The magic of the 50's and 60's has long vanished and has been replaced by world tragedies in Asia and modern day preoccupation with a damaged ozone layer..Maybe there is a silver lining to all these tragedies as the richest countries contribute to relief agencies which are involved in the rebuilding of some areas of 'china...There is no other time in history when the love of our fellow human being has taken a top priority...Major tragedies such as the Chinese earthquake somehow make people more aware of their fellow man and to donate millions to the suffering is second nature . The harshness of north American life seems very unimportant compared to the suffering and hunger in third world countries...People by nature are really good and if major governments deceided to spend their millions for the betterment of mankind on this planet instead of squandering a good portion of their national budgets on space programs, and wars..We could see a different world, and the ever pressing problem of world hunger could be completely eliminated
A third eye of perception is what the world needs..Leadership is still a self serving power grab and true leadership should be a reflection of what the majority of people believe in their heart of hearts...But it is not..Political ambitions are based on what can that guy do for the working man or if an elected government can reduce taxes sufficiently so there could be more pay at the end of the month...If there are hundreds of different perceptions all designed for selected groups then the disadvantaged of the world will be left out..It is really true that long lasting change in this world is accomplished by a select few..It doesn't take a lot of people to change the lives of 4 billion people ...It is also true that 5 percent of the world's population control the majority of the world's wealth..Sad but true but the designers of electronic gadgets are designed for the people who can pay for them...To live comfortably is reserved for the people who have the resources to pay for this elevated lifestyle...Who benefits from modern technology? The 20-80 rule of economics answers this question...The minority of the population benefits from the world's economics and the starving African has to line up with the rest of the poor for a piece of bread or even water which can be a luxury in some locations...If they can buy bread it could be 1 dollar today and 7 dollars tomorrow..A sad situation when a poor hard working person has to fight with 1000 percent inflation while the typical north American complains if there is a 3 per cent increase...If you believe in your own little North American comfort zone then you will never appreciate being a world citizen....Being a true world citizen means you must think of your fellow man across the ocean...Funny thing why nobody has really stipulated what a world citizen is...Doesn't the world belong to all it's people evenly as the creator would want it? To say that the United States belongs to the Americans is like saying they own that part of the world...We own nothing my dear friends and the only thing we own is our own bodies for when we pass on to the next life the United States will not go with us...
Countries may get the money but there are countries which will divert this generous international aid and use it for their own propaganda or could use it for the improvement of a President's palace...Saddam Hussein diverted the money from the oil for food program and accumulated millions..so that power will have a more important meaning to his nation's poor..The man paid for his sins and may god forgive him for his wrong doings but in my heart of hearts I believe that International aid should go to directly to the people and not to government controlled agencies...Most catholics believe the Vatican is an untouchable holy shrine within the Latin area of Rome..Do they donate a good portion of their money to the poor? Millions and even billions are left to the Vatican when people pass on and I don't notice any money being donated to the poor...Maybe to line the Vatican walls with gold and beefed up security...All I hear is royal lip service on how to run your life and that abortion is evil and not right..That could ring true but shouldn't the Vatican treat humanity the way god would treat them?...Why are women any different then men? Don't they have a comparable soul similar to men? Why can't they then be allowed to be a priest within the catholic diocese? Do you believe that this is right? This is unforgivable and wrong and should be corrected within the Vatican democratic process! Some say that the Vatican is actually an anti-Christ in disguise...Well I would not go that far but firmly believe that radical changes are necessary! Oh well power grabs can be disguised as Mr. Clean so beware my dear people and do not take everything at face value!
One's beliefs should reflect the spirit of humanity as a whole and not a select few who search to dominate others by force or rule. Yes, good sounding music can go mainstream and can make a rock band popular and can even make them demi-gods to their adoring fans...Bands that profit from their popularity are fast becoming the coolest thing around and a Zen Master's beliefs are never a priority issue on people's lives....People usually repress someone's beliefs if they do not understand it...What they can understand is to to feel good today and to have a party and get drunk ...If the company is good then a sexual conquest could be made and a person's individual rights can be violated by certain date rape drugs and the belief here is let's have fun and feel good at any expense...Yes one's beliefs may not coincide with another's and what I believe is not what a lot of people believe...Yes my rock may not be your rock (previous archive entry) so life goes on and on and the same mistakes are carried over to every generation...
The only improvement in this world is the improvement to make life easier for the people who can afford to pay for it...This is a cold reality and dam the planet and it's resources...Who cares if the world's cod fisheries are in danger as long as we can have fish today that's all that matters doesn't it? When I die I will weep for the people who will come after me and the select few who are sent by the creator are a rare breed as even Mother Teresa had problems with her faith and felt that the creator was a man with a white robe and lives in an ivory tower...She could not find the power of God on this earth because little did she know that she was indeed quite rare and was actually one of the chosen few to change the world.. I guess she felt that God did not appreciate what she did for her fellow human beings and she struggled for many years with her faith..But she soldiered on and her beliefs were so ingrained in her subconscious that feeding hungry children or nursing the sick and wounded on the streets of India came automatically...
Beliefs are like that ...If you truly believe that smoking is bad for your health you will not smoke...and quiting cold turkey becomes automatic only if you deeply believe it...and if there is a poisonous belief that conflicts with that then you will never quit ... A person through internal self talk can rationalize that his life will end anyway some time in the future and that his pain and suffering can actually make him feel good today if he has a number of cigarettes...He is oblivious to the warnings of the medical community only that it makes him feel good today and today is always today and never the next day for those types of people...Do you see yourself in this paragraph? I did...When I entered my late 30's my beliefs became the most important thing in my life...The act of quitting cigarettes was easier when I engaged in rational self talk and that my reasons for smoking did not justify the expense financially and medically...So now I have abstained from smoking now for almost 20 years...
My beliefs on eating meat also made me realize that being a vegetarian is actually a more healthy alternative...The role of meat is to provide protein for the body so that cells can be stabilized and rebuilt with a stronger foundation...One can achieve almost the same result and if you don't believe that all roads lead to Rome then you will always eat meat ...Proteins can be had from certain vegetables such as legumes , plants , and other non meat products...Walnuts or any nut can have a good amount of protein and the required good fats which the body needs to sustain itself..The trick here is to substitute these products for meat..Arranging your diet in a creative manner can be fun...but if you love the taste of meat especially with that very tasty HP sauce then you will never change will you? Your mouth will always water when you see a sizzling stake on a frying pan and somehow a plant based protein legume such as a chick pea can never give you the same excitement ..Will it? So why do people go "gaga" over a sizzling stake? Well it could be genetic or in born from the time when mankind was in prehistoric times and the animal instinct subconsciously determined it to be a human belief...Can we reverse this belief? You bet we can! But your beliefs and also your determined will power have to work together to achieve this...But yesssssssssss it can be done and if you have reached the magic age of 50 then your beliefs should be more important then ever and there is no better time then now to activate your core belief values! Age really is no factor so if you are blessed with wisdom at 20 then go for it dude and forget that nonsense about muscle cars, fast women , junk food and smoking up a storm...True beliefs are always powerful if the universal laws of wisdom are followed...and you will know in your heart of hearts if it rings true for you...
My beliefs in human relations do abide by the laws of universal wisdom ..Society can be a terrible evil and can be the thorns in a rose bush if you are mesmerized by it's power...If you really believe what society is telling you then you will never gain another pound and will forever be slim and even slimmer and there are women and maybe a small percent of men who go to the extreme of being too thin and to be slim is somehow what society is telling you and if you are overweight you will find it hard to nail that interview for that dream job of yours because it could be reserved for that slim beauty with mediocre business skills ...You look overweight and maybe not as sexy looking but deep down in your heart of hearts you know you have more experience then a younger or even more slimmer person but true class is not measured by what you look like but it is measured by your spiritual evolution...A person who is spiritually free does not believe that a body should take a front seat over experience or creative self expression ...To be obsessed with image is to be enslaved by it and if you really believe that outer appearances and image make the person then you will be a slave to what society is telling you...
To feel out of place with a bunch of teenagers is to believe that age matters and that belief can be convincing to younger people ...If you socialize with your own age group then you actually believe that relationships and friendships are categorized by cultural influences such as age ..One belief I have is this: Age is mind over matter...if you don't mind it don't matter! I firmly believe this and no body will ever make me think otherwise!!!!! So if you are in your teens and you want to say hello to me then go for it dude! But don't ask me to join your friends at your weekly Pot parties....(Hehehehe) Pot or marijuana (to be exact) is against my beliefs! There are many more teenagers who believe that smoking any kind of cigarette is harmful and age really has no power over what your bad habits are! There are many 50 yr old men or women who smoke pot and it's not a cultural experience reserved for the young...If you believe it is then you have a set of beliefs which are invalid....
In summary I can faithfully say that writing this article about a person's beliefs is the most important entry that I have written so far..It is my perception that a person's beliefs are extremely important to a person's development . Without a true set of beliefs one cannot change...For it is these beliefs which will set the wheel in motion...One must remember that these beliefs must obey the laws of universal wisdom..It must feel right deep within your soul and if those beliefs are evil or self serving in nature then humanity as a whole will suffer..Act only if those beliefs will aid humanity in some way ...if it doesn't then it must not be implemented because because at the end of the day the purpose of mankind is to help each other so that suffering can be minimized...
If you truly believe that when you reach your 60's everything will now go down hill and you will feel every ache and pain and Murphy's Law will be validated and if things could go wrong they will go wrong as you wake up each dreadful morning..It is true that as we age we loose more cells then are replaced..and this is a cold hard reality we all must eventually face...but let us turn the other coin and remember another image of a person going up hill...After a long climb one will see things more clearly on top of the hill as opposed to the bottom...Life is like that ..wisdom will be bestowed on us at the right time and the meaning of life will be fully appreciated at the time of our death..and please remember my dear folks...this personal belief...LOVE NEVER FAILS!
Stay tuned for the next entry of the verifiedbeliever!...Ciaooooooooooooooooo Love yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
