Hope you enjoyed the Italian sung Spanish song from the Sempre-Italia website... I hope it touches your soul as it did mine!...
It's been a hectic year so far ! The way this world is going a lot of people will want to get off their illusion of a gravy train...I mean, the roaring twenties should of taught us a lesson and what came after was a devastating economic experience for all! Maybe we are too smug in our thinking that we wont hop on a train to where the jobs could be or that we may have to line up for soup ..Or that those once dreaded work for food camps during the depression could not be a possibility in today's world? After all we tend to be very smug in our thinking that the word Depression may not apply in today's economic climate...Or could it? Maybe we are in utter denial and that word may very well indeed apply! All you have to do is see how many job applicants are applying for the good jobs! Or that Canadian food bank usage has increased over 30 percent in the last 14 months! What it means is that the globalization of international economies has become so mainstream and competition now so fierce that the big survival machine of existence has now become compromised! The almighty dollar has lost it's sacredness and appeal and it may very well be worthless if a major disease epidemic should happen throughout North America! If that ever happens estimates to the tune of over a trillion dollars could put us into economic paralysis! Maybe the word depression is a bad word because it sounds a lot like the word depressing..At least in 1930 we knew where the bottom was...a depression is considered the absolute bottom and there was no where to go but up! In today's world we really do not have a bottom yet and the scary part is that it now seems like a bottomless pit..with no end in sight..How many years can a society endure where credit seems to be our master and us its slave?
Well to keep on rambling about how this world is becoming is really a validation on simple universal laws...After all today's entry Plant a Seed Reap a Crop is a universal type truth for all practical purposes..Rightly so! We are reaping our harvest after all those seeds were planted. There were many good seeds that were planted and many bad seeds but the universal truth is that what ever seed type it was the resulting crop justified the type of seed planted..The expression Seed Money is really money invested by virtue of an intense faith in something.Whether its invested by angel Investors or national governments in hope of a financial return or a more robust economy...One thing remains certain:Seeds planted are designed to grow into some kind of crop...if all the elements of nourishment are correctly implemented then the only outcome is a crop or some sort of plant...Such is nature and what is cultivated in a garden could very well be cultivated in a business scenario..Investing seed money on an irrigation project in Uganda could very well trigger communal type farms..which could feed many Africans..So instead of giving people money one could contribute seed money for projects which have a positive effect in the long run..The old saying 'Its better to teach a man to fish instead of throwing him a single fish' is far more powerful and wise..Fishing for fish for a year has more impact then relying on someone to give you fish on a daily basis..
Yea planting seeds is something special people do and one very special person is one person that I'm sure everyone has heard of..but the real name of Johnny Appleseed is not so well known..Johnny Appleseed's real name was John Chapman...He was born in Massachusetts in 1774..He majored in horticulture and eventually decided to become a nurseryman at 25..What he did was amazing and goes to show what the human spirit can accomplish if it is focused and determined..He began to plant apple seeds throughout the Northern USA...Present day States such Pennsylvania, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Indiana and Ohio benefited from his labor of love..He would literally carry a big sac of apple seeds over his shoulders as he began planting apple seeds in neat little rows..A tremendous amount of work for one man but he persevered for many years...clearing the land of brush weeds and making room for the apple tree orchards..He would sell the trees for pennies to cover his costs and actually lived on nuts and berries...He even built fences to protect the seedlings so that animals could not dig and eat them before they had a chance to grow..What a marvelous human being, and to this day Johnny Appleseed's labor of love is a splendid example of the American spirit!
Yea today's present day scenario of events boggles the mind..and what is happening in the music industry has a complicated but chaotic charm to it..People by nature are visually orientated...What looks good to the naked eye is a prelude to something better! Or is it? Are pop stars like Madonna, and Brittany Spears pleasing to look at? Well they are musical icons and also sex symbols! Does it have anything to do with their majestic souls? Hardly! It helps that you love your fans but Madonna sings and plays out her dream and uses her sex appeal to manipulate you into buying her CD's and concert tickets...She is using image and sex to get what she wants while her sleeping soul begs her to do more..Adopting a foreign child is not considered a major act of kindness for the world for that matter..Most editors and even the majority of the media would agree that she started the image thing for singers and pop stars..She looks great at 50 and if her appearance suddenly started to deteriorate her singing career would be over..so society used her as a benchmark for future musical artists..If you lack beauty well...You better keep your day job if you have one..A very beautiful artist can be a major attraction to her fans because her natural beauty will highlight her borderline or fair talent...Maybe she can wiggle more to the left and wiggle more to the right and show something here and there and before you know it people get conned into buying their records and seeing them live in concert...Brittany Spears is a classic example of someone with mediocre talent but vivacious good looks..So being drop dead gorgeous has a pronounced effect on what is collected at the gate or how much their royalty check is at the end of the month...
Yea but then there are those who may say that if you have superb talent then the lack of beauty really is not that important..Keith Richards of the Stones has a crater face, decrepit look but he has a mysterious ugly charm to him that people are drawn to..Of Course his talent is what made the Stones who they are..If you can achieve some sort of individuality and characteristic style then you will have a devoted following... an absolute must if one aspires to be a rock or musical icon! Yea one would argue that the urge to dominate or survive is very strong indeed..but utter manipulation of others would be considered a bad manipulative ploy..It all comes from a single thought...Thoughts then are like seeds which when planted in one's mind will result in some sort of action..In continuing the train of thought of the music industry we can cite the example of the overnight famous Susan Boyle..Society and all of the judges and audience of the Britain's Got Talent frowned upon this woman..Why? She was considered unattractive and not appropriately dressed for her audition..People mocked her and thought she would quack like a duck when she would attempt to sing her Miserables song "To Dream a Dream"Why are people so quick to judge? Well society in this example has brainwashed people into thinking that appearance is an important starting point...Kind of like a gatekeeper or security check prior to the event...Thanks to the likes of Madonna a beautiful appearance sadly is the starting point when judging any talent..I think Susan is a marvelous teacher in that she even said that it is a lesson people should learn..If the soul speaks to someone when she is singing it means that the most important thing is the inner beauty which should be doing the convincing...Prior to judging look into her eyes which is the window to the soul and you will learn to appreciate her natural beauty even before she starts singing..People really cannot see past their noses and it is one of the most saddest things to endure in today's society! Of course being biased is really discrimination in disguised form...Discrimination is always a subtle attitude and it originates within the mind...so the bad seeds of thought will eventually influence the person in their day to day activities..The tragedy of what society dictates to someone is really arm twisting until you submit to it...Susan Boyle is a gracious soul and excellent artist and is pure as can be...but she submitted to society's arm twisting by agreeing to a makeover...If I had the opportunity to speak to her.. I would say:"Listen...Over 100 million people are convinced that you are pure and natural as can be"..."They already accepted the way you were prior to any makeover"...Its too bad someone could not tell her that being natural and plain is not a sin and having a soul is far more valuable then anything in this world...If she disagreed to have any major makeover it would maker her even greater then she will ever be...Of course people will still accept her and I will be buying her first album when it comes out....Why? Well if you click on Susan sings "Cry me a River" you will know that singing is more then hitting the notes square on...She has this uncanny ability to excite my soul to no end...and for that I'm grateful...If a song can bring a grown man to tears then she deserves to make it big! Move over Madonna! Make your move now! Right to the exit door! Hehe
Well its about time for that tea kettle to start it's beautiful hissing noise..Or should I help my friend plant some tomato seedlings? Don't you all love tomatoes? Well for now I will buy them at the No Frills Supermarket! They are only 99 cents a pound! Yea society has a stranglehold on me too... at least I'm willing to pay for a tomato's inner beauty! Hehe
Stay tuned for the verifiedbeliever's next entry! Ciaoooooooooooooo Love yaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
