Cut Once , Think Twice!!!

Hey there!

How goes the battle? I say battle because we are indeed fighting many wars ..Every day is a fight to survive, and if you are over 50 every day is a bonus and to finally see that my urine is clear is a major accomplishment....Yea.. that magical age of 50 plus when all my aches and pains seem to want me to take a mud bath...Dam it!... Who cares if the majority of women love that sort of thing! Those aches and pains would diminish and hell, I may even look 10 years younger if yours truly had the courage to enter one of those female dominated salons!.(hehehe)

Yeaaaaaaaaaaa ..life really can be confusing huh!? Big cities like Toronto can come to a halt as commuters scramble to find alternative ways to get to their beauty salon appointment, and if you had emergency medical appointments then you could be in a real fix..God help the TTC if there were any fatal accidents or medical accidents due to their self centered stupid deceison to strike without their 48 hour notice of intention...There were many teenage and pre-teen kids stranded at midnight due to the arrogant attitude of the TTC Union's president..Is he the guy with his hair all slicked back? Wow, he sure could make a really big impression on some vulnerable movie talent scout but he sure can't pull the wool over my eyes!...I know where that jerk is coming from and he is not a candidate for a dignified customer service job that's for sure!...Even though this moron makes over 200,000 grand a year he does not have the qualifications of a baboon when it comes to serving the people of Toronto...Not wanting to apologize to the citizens of Toronto tells people that he is an arrogant kind of guy and does not have a clue about public opinions and how certain circumstances effect other sets of circumstances ..Being a big shot and assuming you have power over others is a very dangerous thing when it involves the general public...They are the ones who pay all the salaries when it comes to taxes, fares or customer sales..Therefore, having an attitude of wanting to serve people in general will have everyone on your side!...Mr. Bob Kinnear is a man with a mule mindset and if he had the traits of a lateral type thinker he would realize that the verbal and physical abuse from the public is for a reason...He did the exact same thing in the previous strike of 2000 and had his union members walk out without any prior notice..This wildcat strike resulted in a negative backlash from the public and the fact he did it again now makes him more of a lame duck leader and to stop the bleeding he must resign or face further rebellion from all the union members...If a leader cannot communicate and delegate in an effective manner then he is no longer a leader and must give others a chance to prove their merit!...What can he do to make the public respect drivers and the front line staff of the TTC? Well...one radio caller mentioned that in the event of another TTC strike one can all vote to let all the riders on for free...This way you still have the pressure to negotiate because nobody is paying and if you are going to close the TTC no money is made anyway...So allow people to ride for free and then the public would have a sympathetic and kinder view of the TTC and at the same time the customer service dilemma would be repaired and negotiations would have a more positive and intense structure Deadlines would be more achievable because the noose is being pulled on management at the end of the day.. Nobody can operate for free for very long without major repercussions...Yes this is an example of lateral thinking, because it deviates from the standard practice of taking services away and instead concentrates on the positive instead of the negative..This specialized pressure to negotiate can be implemented in a newly re-worded union contract which can be possible if the majority of members voted on it...Not accepting fares and allowing people on for free is another way to strike and should make the negotiating process seem just as urgent...The TTC must remember that the front line staff and drivers act a certain way because of a few bad apples..Can this new idea be possible? Not with the leaders they have now!...Communication is what it's all about when true leaders are concerned...There is no room for arrogance and the false sense of security one gets from power and how it's flaunted...

Enough of this! This is making my head spin and all I want to do now is sip my ginger tea in peace! Is that ok with you Mr. Bob (hairspray) Kinnear? (hehehe)
Wow.. this ginger tea is doing a number on my brain cells as I consider other topics relating to the above entry Think twice cut once...I could talk or write about millions of things which can relate to the above entry but when push comes to shove the most important thing to remember is that one must concentrate on priority issues like health, global issues, individual problems and with the perceptions which a lot of countries have and how they fit in with a global perspective...There was a lot of confused thinking in the past and the wild wild west of the 1800's is now common place on the internet...People think they can do anything they want and also think that nobody is monitoring their actions but those evil pedophile sex sellers are making a fortune on the backs of innocent children...Sex seems to have no limit and the fact that child pornography has a limited market makes the seller more inclined to sell memberships ..Thinking twice is not on their evil minds as runaway profits can be found on the internet...and the stats will tell you that the number one seller on the internet is sex sex and more sex...If you are a wanna be rock star then you have to show a little leg, breast, chest (sometimes hairy) here and there to get the nibbles you want...Look at Nelly Furtado the Canadian singer of late ...who started out as a sweet, innocent but promising artist...Her initial album Free as a Bird made her somewhat famous but her sales of her album was not up to par with other artists...So what did she do? Well...she dyed her hair blond started dressing sexy and showed her better assets to sell her image a bit better...Did she succeed? You bet! Her album sales are better then ever and she has booked concerts all over the world..It's too bad thinking twice means she is thinking twice about how to make her image more popular rather then send a message to her fans as to the meaning of her songs and how it can help them with their own lives...The public is not interested in messages in songs or even if the songs are an inspiration...The excitement of a pop star is related to how sexy she can deliver the message...The idea here is ..people are more interested in the sizzle rather then the steak..The public in this case is subconsciously controlled by the power that music generates rather then the power of inspirational messages...The beat generated by music is what people want...or desire to listen to...Who cares if hip hop stars cannot be understood as they ramble on and on on god knows what...They talk so fast that in order to compensate for this stupid unmusical gibberish they enhance it by catchy beats and computerized loops...Now as as a consumer of music and also a singer songwriter I can fully attest to the fact that Hip Hop or any kind of rap is the biggest con going in the music business...I can say deep within my heart of hearts and can faithfully say that I'm thinking not twice but three times before I ever recommend hip hop to anyone...Would you listen to a man on a street corner reciting the bible? or his views on life? Usually most people would walk by and would ignore this person..All of a sudden this type of music is going mainstream...Why do people buy into it? Well one reason is because it's a newly created sound developed by a certain generation and has their signature on it..Hip hop seems to be the cool thing and the in thing now ...The Beach boys , the Beatles and even the Rolling Stones are not on young peoples minds at the moment...The old school and the new school of music seems to validate the generation gap that exists between the baby boomers and the x and y generations...To bad though because music should be a universal bridge that everyone is welcome to walk on..Music should unite not divide..Thinking twice should mean that if you write a song then it should be clearly understood and not sung or told in rapid fire sequence...the danger here is that the words you don't understand can be absorbed by the subconscious and the result can be very dangerous indeed...somewhat like being poisoned and not knowing it..Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa if you think this entry is hogwash go and listen to your gansta-rap and then you can look yourself in the mirror as you mimic the false sense of power which this type of music generates...Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa the song Home Sweet Home is very old and somewhat out of date with the majority of people but one can faithfully say it packs a tremendous amount of power and it probably made the family and the idea of owing your own home a reality to a lot of people...Who knows how many families stayed together or bought homes because of what the song's hidden message said to their subconscious minds?
Yeaaaaaaaaaaaaa songs have meaning to me and they are clearly understood and the song She loves you ya ya ya still brings me back to the days when I found my first love..the song Can't buy me love is a tremendously powerful song which clearly states that money cannot buy happiness or love and to seek money and to make it your god will make you a miserable old turd faster then you can blink an eye...Other songs such as r e s p e c t totally captured the majority of people and made respect front, left and center as the womens liberation movement now has new meaning as the majority of women now seek to be recognized for their intelligence rather then their bustline...There are more female mechanics now then there ever was and the attitudes of men in general are changing..Now Hillary Clinton is being pushed on to the public as daily images of her is plastered all over the web and the media ...People respect the idea of a woman becoming president now as she rubs shoulders with average Americans and has a no nonsense approach to politics which is intoxicating to the senses...Yea this song really did erase a lot of biases people had and to really believe in messages which are meaningful is to really think twice as people realize that quality and class has no gender or age bracket...Yea if you were a 75 year old wanna be rock star and you came up to me and wanted me to listen to your CD and I was totally in tune with the music I would automatically buy it with no hesitation...As long as I can feel your presence spiritually or if it made me feel good without any evil temptation to create evil then who gives a dam how old you were!!!! Does the public think this way? Well they buy records with their first visual impulse that an artist has such as some sort of sexual bait...Flash trend setting outfits or pink hair-dos and what have you...Thinking twice should mean previewing the music before you buy it and giving it an A rating if it also has a positive affect on your life or makes you a better person or elevates your sad mood into a happy one...
Thinking twice on how not to underestimate the human soul is another thought to consider..Let us remember unique artists like Daniel Johnston who was a popular singer song writer who also was manic depressive and was institutionalized two times for his impulsive nature...He influenced many artists and even Curt Cobain who wore his Hi how are you T-shirt thought he was the real McCoy. Daniel Johnston could not even play guitar and played a passable piano. Some people and even some other artists thought he was a joke . Atlantic records signed him on and made him somewhat mainstream as he appeared on MTV . What he had was a unique talent for simplicity and how it was delivered was honest and most people could relate to the truth radiating from the over 155 songs he recorded. A lot of musical people thought he was a musical genius. The lyrics behind his melodious tunes radiated a powerful energy and the soul crying out in the wilderness of his mind was actually how he got started...There were many musical people who saw his soul's naked genius and wanted to take him even further to the top.He actually later realized that he could of made a pact with the devil in return for fame and later fired his manager...The truth in this man was amazing because it showed the developing soul and how vulnerable it can also be...What this shows is that there is a tremendous void in music today and people are looking for truth but it must be delivered purely and honestly without any hint of self serving profit or self-gratification..

As my readers can see I have a definite opinion on music and how it relates to the above entry Cut once think twice...Life's inequities somehow seems unlimited and beyond reason but the simple carpenter's rule cut once think twice is really a simple solution but in life it's really the simple things which can cause the most dramatic change...The simple act of saving your loose change can result in a sizable amount of money at the end of the year...But before you can achieve this goal you have to really think about it two or three times and then have the courage to act upon your thoughts...This strategy believe it or not is being used in politics and if there is a political will in limbo or if there is confusion in certain parts of an act Ottawa's parliament has 100 senators to reflect on it or act as an intelligent and sober second opinion...

So there you have it folks! Good old dad once told me many times that I had a brand new brain that has actually never been used... Maybe he was a bit harsh and maybe a tad bit cruel but he was really right on the money on that one...Many highly academic people would say that people in general use only 10 to 15 percent of the brain's capacity at any given moment..We need to think twice and maybe three times before we act..Being trigger happy while you aim the shotgun at your reluctant future son in law is really not thinking twice is it? You will pay for your actions one way or another either through karma pay back or through the judicial process..So before you hit your wife senseless think twice about the repercussions of your actions and refrain or stop it immediately...Think twice but you must act after thinking and the act must be harmonious with the universal mind ..The universal mind is omnipotent, powerful, and pure and represents the truth in it's finest form...So think before you act and take that table saw and focus on what you are doing and think twice before you look at that gorgeous blond that is approaching you..
